High-Heels

For everyone who likes shoes. Here are my 10cm High-Heels I bought at Deichmann last Saturday. I love them and they are definitely my highest pair of shoes. :D

Pen pal stuff

So here is a postcard I received from a girl from Interpal. Thank you Tracy! :D

Then I wanna show you my AIR MAIL stickers I made at Vistaprint. They look nicer than the one from the post office. *lol*

And here are more stamps I ordered. I guess from now on I'll always buy them online.

Pictures, pictures, pictures

Because I love my camera so much, I took a walk with it yesterday and took some random pictures. Hope you like them!

Postcrossing - My first cards!

I think on May 1st I joined Postcrossing. If you don't know Postcrossing and you wanna learn more about it, check it out on Wikipedia or on their website.
So here are the first three postcards I received. Two from Finland and today one from Edinburgh. :D

Orange Chicken for the crock pot!

I'm looking a while now for a good and easy Orange Chicken recipe. I think this one is not bad. Better than the last one I tried! :D

Ingredients:

- chicken breast (3-4), chopped into small chunks
- olive oil

- flour-cornstarch-mix (50:50)
- 2 egg white
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 6 oz. orange juice
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Mix the egg white together with the sugar and salt. Put the chicken chunks in the egg white mix and cover them after with the flour-cornstarch-mix. Pour a small amount of olive oil in a skillet and brown the covered chicken. It doesn't need to be fully cooked since it's going in the crock pot.

Mix the orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, salt, and ketchup in a bowl. After the chicken is done cooking, pour the pieces into the crock pot. Then cover the chicken with your sauce mixture and give the pot a stir.

Cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 2-3.

While cooking I added more orange juice. That gives a stronger taste.

Das Tauschpaket war wieder da!

Das Tauschpaket (Alles-darf-rein-Wanderpaket) war mal wieder hier und ich hab mir tolle Sachen ausgesucht.

I received the big swap package again and picked out some nice stuff.

Some pictures

Today I took some random pictures because I was bored. Here they are!

Banana Chocolate Cake

For the dough:

2 eggs
2 tablespoons of hot water
80 g (1/2 - 1/3 cup) sugar
1 package (8 g) vanilla sugar
60 g (1/2 cup) flour
20 g (1/4 cup) cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder

For the cream:

5-6 bananas
400 g (2 cups) sour cream (Schmand)
250 g (1 cup) Quark (I guess Greek yogurt should be similar to it)
1 package vanilla sugar (8 g) and vanilla extract
1 pack of powdered gelatine (for 0,5 l of liquids)

Lets get started:

For the dough beat the eggs with the hot water for one minute. Add all sugar and beat it another 2 minutes. Add the rest after those 3 minutes and mix everything. Put the dough in a round greased baking pan and bake it in the preheated oven (170°C / 325°F - Ober-/Unterhitze) for 20 minutes.

For the cream mix the bananas to a pulp. Add the rest and beat it for about 3 minutes. Put the crust on a plate and put a cake setting ring around it. Add the cream and let it cool for at least have a day. You could also make the crust in a pie pan and add the cream there. I you want add some chocolate flakes on the top - looks nicer. :D
