Ingredients:
- 300g (0,66 lb) old hard bread from breadrolls (white bread)
- 1 onion
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 500 ml (16,9 oz) milk
- 1 package frozen parsley
- 3 eggs
- salt, pepper and nutmeg
Cut the hard bread rolls into cubes or slices and put them in a big bowl. Then cut the onion into small pieces and steam them for 2 minutes.
Add the milk and warm it up. Put the mixture over the bread and let it sit for at least 10 minutes. Add parsley, eggs, salt, pepper and nutmeg and mix it.
Make 8 dumplings out of the mixtures. Wet your hands before you do it so that the dough doesn't stick.
Cook salt water in a big pot till it boils. Add the dumplings and let them cook (medium heat) for about 20 minutes without a lid.
